Play It Forward DAO welcomes Activision Blizzard’s APAC Head of Strategy and Business Development as an advisor

As Play It Forward DAO continues to expand its reach within the metaverse, we’re honored to welcome Paul Linchen, Head of Strategy and Business Development of APAC in Activision Blizzard on board as an Advisor.

Who is Paul Linchen?

Paul is a key leader in Activision Blizzard’s business in Asia, as Head of Strategy and Business Development of APAC. Previously, he had held several roles during his tenure at Activision Blizzard — including Managing Director of S-Asia, and Regional Director of Esports of TW, HK, and SEA.

Prior to Activision Blizzard, Paul spent some time living and working in Hong Kong when he joined as a Chief Marketing Officer for Hong Kong Esports (HKE), a major eSports organization supporting professional teams in League of Legends, Overwatch, Clash Royale, Hearthstone, and Arena of Valor esports pro leagues. Before HKE, Paul was based in Shanghai from 2011 to 2016, at which time he was the Greater China General Manager of Rovio, creators of Angry Birds, where he founded the China office and built up the Angry Birds business in China from the ground up.

With over 20 years of international experience in building and growing teams, brand building, corporate development, and partnership management, Paul is also a regular speaker at tech conferences, business networks, and start-up events. He also advises several startups as a member of their Advisory Board.
